Murray Reservoir Fishing Report

by Murray Reservoir Staff

The water level is rising and has almost returned to normal. Now that the lake is clearing up we're starting to see a Redear Sunfish and Bluegill bite. Night Crawlers and Redworms fished down the shoreline of all the arms seems to be the ticket for these great tasting panfish. The Largemouth Bass are still in spawn with the males swimming with the fry and the females attacking plastics off the shallow points. Boat anglers report that fish are biting on dropshot rigs, 4 inch plastic worms in watermelon, black and grape are the favorites. And as always live shiners are the go-to bait.
