by Fish Reports Staff

Bass fishing has been steadily improving since last week, as the warmer water temps have the fish moving shallow and towards the backs of coves.  Small swimbaits, rip baits, flukes, serkos, and drop shotted worms all worked for 1-2 lb. Largemouth in as little as 1" of water. Bluegill and Crappie begining to show in the back of Baona and Kimball on small shiners, red worms, and nightcrawlers.  Catfish action seemed to have slowed a bit since the pervious week although there rumors of a 50lb. blue that was caught in the trees in the Baona Arm.
