The water temperature is 59 degrees. Water level is up about 8 ft. Last Stock of Trout was January 31“, 2018. Striper: High Action: Striper action still going strong over by Launch Ramp 2 and near the Inlet. Live Shad & Sardines have been working best. Blue Gill: Low Action. Blue Gill are starting to pick up, live Crickets and Red worms have been successful this last week. Catfish: Low Action- Cats can be caught over in the coves using chicken livers, anchovies, and also on Gulp bait (bloody-bloody, bloody shad guts, bloody chicken). Large Mouth: Medium Action: Most Large Mouth Bass action has been reported over by the East End using night crawlers, jigs and purple & green plastic worms. Trout: Next Stock of Trout will be Valentine’s Day, February 14", 2018! Take your honey out and spend the day fishing!

Carp: Low Action: Not much action reported on Carp. Try using your favorite carp dough balls, along the banks or under heavy cover. Stop by the camp store or marina and share your fishing stories with us and get a picture taken so we can post it on FB.

Lures producing some good catches are Flicker shad lures in colors: firetiger, black sunset and shad colored. The water temperature is 64 degrees. The last few days have been nice & cool so make sure to bundle up especially in the early morning hours.
