The lake was stocked AGAIN this past week! Thank you DFG! Just under 1000 lbs of trout were stocked on the main launch ramp on the evening of 3/16. Anglers have been catching trout on 1/24 chrome kastmasters and yellow powerbait. Anywhere off of the dam or shoreline works to target trout right now. The striped bass have been biting on BBZ JR's, Huddlestons, Savage Gear, and Nightcrawlers. There has been a lot of activity coming off of the shoreline and dam all week. Anglers have also been having luck catching stripers throughout the day, not just in the early morning. The largemouth and smallmouth bite has been good around trout point, taylors spur, and utopia coves.

Try working the backs of the coves at a depth of 10-20 feet. Nightcrawlers and plastic worms are still working well in these areas. Fish these areas between 7 am and 11 am

If fishing this area, use Nightcrawlers or plastic worms at about 20-30 feet. A drop shot set up should be used for Nightcrawlers and a Wacky Rig set up should be used with Plastics. The Striped Bass have been hitting well at the end of the Dam. Many Fishermen have been having luck with...... Read More
