The upper lake was stocked with trout on the afternoon of 4/6. Throughout the weekend, anglers were catching trout on powerbait and small kastmasters off of the shoreline to the right of the main launch ramp. If trying to fish this area, any time of the day will be fine. The Largemouth bite did well by sharons rest, coash cove, and firebreak. Anglers reported having luck at a depth of 10-30 feet in these areas. Tackle of choice was nightcrawlers, senkos, and crankbaits. Try fishing these areas in the early morning (between 6:30 am and 10:30 am) for the best luck. The striped bass have been hitting off of the dam in the early morning/late afternoon on small swim baits and nightcrawers. Anglers have also reported having luck off of c point and the west walls at a depth of 40 feet.
