Captain Ryan on the SAN DIEGO just called it a day on the Full Day Coronado Islands trip with 115 Yellowtail, 42 Kelp Bass and 27 Barracuda. He still has space for Friday, Saturday and Sunday's departures!
The PACIFIC VOYAGER wrapped up a two day trip with 30 Bluefin(one day range), 47 Yellowtail, 100 Calico Bass, 100 Barracuda and 1 Halibut for 15 passengers.
Upcoming offshore trips fishing for Bluefin Tuna include the PROWLER overnight departing Friday and Saturday night, the TRIBUTE 1.5 Day and OUTER LIMITS 2 Day, both departing Friday night. These trips are definite runs.
Calico bass fishing has been good to great on the half-day trips with quite a few legal fish and plenty of action on the "shorts". The morning run on the NEW SEAFORTH caught 47 Calico bass, 2 barracuda and 3 Rockfish. The afternoon trip kept 94 Calico bass(over 200 released) and 10 Rockfish. Half-day trips depart daily at 6:00am and 12:30pm.

UPDATE 6/13/18 1:30pm - The Pacific Voyager just called in with 17 Bluefin Tuna 25-40lbs and they are fishing well within one day range! Stay tuned for more updates! The San Diego finished their Full Day trip yesterday with 131 Yellowtail, 21 Calico Bass and 5 Barracuda for their 38 anglers! These fish were caught on fly-lined baits and surface irons!
