Bass were hitting on Senkos last weekend along Big Rock and the campground shoreline. No huge bass caught but plenty seen swimming around!

The Catfish bite was productive in Shadow Cove. Early morning and sunset is the perfect time to reel those cats in. We had another 1,000 lbs. of catfish stocked in the lake this week. So come on out and take some home with you!

TONS of Bluegill this past week biting on wax worms and mealworms off the T-dock and in Half Moon Cove.

Keep in mind the lake is open the entire month of July for boating, fishing, and family fun. The hours are Sunday-Thursday 6:00 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. and 6:00 a.m. to midnight on Fridays & Saturdays. If you plan on doing some night fishing Friday or Saturday, remember to bring along your full size lantern they are required after 8:00 p.m.

Free boat launches every Tuesday in July. Bring your family and friends for a wonderful time on the lake.

The Catfish Re-opener is set for July 20-22. Additional stocking will be happening the weeks of July 9th & 16th, another 2,000 lbs. That will bring us to a total of 7,000 lbs. this season.

Why not come camping with us? We have s'mores treats and games to play, scavenger hunts, hiking trails, and wildlife to check out.

Call (619) 390-1623 or visit www.lakejennings.org to make your reservations. We have a handful openings next weekend but there are many sites available during the week. Come enjoy the peace and serenity of the lake. You'll be glad you did!
