Weather conditions: Hot days (approx. 90-105˚) and hot nights (approx. 80-90˚). We’ve had many clear sunny days, along with some windy days.

Water Temperature: 77˚, Water Level: 100% normal, Clarity: Clear to about 4 feet from shore.

Last stock (1,000 pounds) Catfish: Thursday, 7/5/18

Next stock (1,000 pounds) Catfish: Thursday, 7/12/18

Hatchery: Superior Catfish Inc, Arvin, CA (Catfish)

Average size: Most 1.5 - 2 pounds. Several caught were in the 3-5 range.

Top Spots of the Week: North Shore and the finger


Robert Cushman, from Apple Valley caught a massive 11lb catfish over on North Shore using Mackerel.

Elijah Castro, An 11 year old from Fullerton caught his very first fish a nice 2lb Catfish over on North Shore using mackerel. Great job!

Philippe Placencea, from Apple Valley caught a beautiful 9lb catfish using anchovies over on North Shore.

Nick Ochoa, from Hesperia caught a nice 5 fish stringer, with the biggest coming in at a solid 8lb using the M&M combo at the Drain.

Noah Standafer, from Hesperia caught a massive 10.4lb catfish at the Drain using Night Crawler.
