Anglers have been catching a lot of stripers off the rip rap in front of the bait shop using baits such as sardines, chicken liver, and lugworms. Early morning, people have been catching both stripers and bass using reaction baits like top waters or jerk baits. Plastic set ups have also been working very well for both bass and stripers to fish deeper and to work through the 9rasslines along the lake. Hot spots from shore have been from the canal towards the entrance booth and also off the rocks in front of the store. Catfish have also been caught in the canal using anchovies and chicken liver, fishing at the bottom, bait and wait style.
