Anglers have been catching a variety of species down deeper throughout the lake and from shore. Stripers and catfish have been biting throughout the day on Sardines, Chicken Liver, and Night Crawlers, usually in coves and off rocky points around the lake. Bass have been biting mainly soft plastic baits down deeper, working baits through the grass, also in coves and along the shorelines. Hot spots from shore over the past week have been off the rocks in front of the boat shop and in the canal by the entrance booth.
