Fishing has improved from last week and the bass bite has gotten much better. The size of the bass decrease but quanity has certainly increase. The morning and afternoon continue to be the most productive times for any fishing. The bluegill fishing has been consistently and large numbers are starting to show here. Make sure to fish shaded areas once the sun comes up and once the wind picks up follow the path of the wind into the correlating cove. Also keep an eye out for slack currents as there have been some larger bass and crappie being pulled out of them down deeper. Texas rigging larger worms, crawdad patterns and darker colors seems to be the most effective. However drop shot have been producing as well, if you are having trouble with undergrowth just lengthen your dropper leader.
