The lake was stocked last Friday with 1,300 lbs of catfish so there are still a lot of cats out there waiting to be caught. The bite has been good all week with limits being pulled out off the shoreline by Jump Off Point on Wednesday and continuing through the weekend with limits caught from anglers on shore from Jump Off Point and Boulder Bay and on boats along the Log Boom.

The best bait is still Mackerel, but people also have success with chicken livers and shrimp. For boaters the best spot is still tying up to the Log Boom and people fishing from the shore have been having the most success at Jump Off Point and Boulder Bay.

Night Fishing started July 5th and will continue Friday and Saturday nights through August 31st. During night fishing the shore will be open until 11:30 PM and boats can stay out until 11:00 PM. During night fishing half day boats start at 4:00 PM.
