Welcome to Lake Murray in La Mesa,CA. The bass are starting to move into shallow water and are being spotted from shore in 20 feet of water and lass. They are biting on slow moving swimbaits as well as the drop shot rig with the drop shot rig and either senkos or robo worms. The bluegill blue has slowed some but live worms at the bait shop are working well. We are still looking for the crappie bite to happen. It shouldn’t be much longer. The tout fishing has been decent with powerbait and marshmallows.
