The bass bite has been slowly improving, as the water temps begin to rise. There’s been a lot of bucks causing the bank, but have been reluctant to bite. Most fish have been coming out of 20’ to 25’ of water. Finesse techniques worked well for the deeper fish. There’s also been some sightings of large blue cats suspended in the trees in Barona, and Kimball arms of the lake, but no catches were reported to the concession. A few bluegill were also taken by shore anglers in the aqueduct arm on nightcrawler as well.
