Stripers have still been biting cut bait from the points past the swim beach area, off the rip rap in front of the bait shop and along the canal by the entrance booth. the best baits have been sardines and lugworms but mackerel, anchovies and chicken liver has also gotten bit throughout the lake over the past few weeks. Trout have been biting very well along the shorelines and marina since the most recent trout plant on Tuesday, March 16th on Powerbait, mice tails, night crawlers and various spinner baits like Panther martins and rooster tails.
