A move was in order following a fruitless day of trying small dabs of bluefin scattered to hell and gone. Taking a page from the tried and true traditional bluefin notebook we relocated to another zone for the night time effort and came away with a big time win. Foremost was the amount of fish around. I'll spare you all the Fathometer and sonar shots but the images were stunning. Though most chose to snub us two schools dropped their guard and we landed a few shots square on the chin. Excellent fishing, and catching, on 30-60 pound bluefin was the reward. A little sloppy weather on the horizon we are switching gears tomorrow fat on bluefin seeking coastal variety and beautiful calm. Today's image features Captain Alex and Logan tending to the fish mid stop before we made a drop.
