Bass are going for very small snacks. Try a cricket or small bug like soft or hard bait. Even a crappie jig have sparked their interest. Crappie are hit or miss but either way it is best to get out early. Color varies per day but a weighted jig head with a soft bait will grab their attention. This week a 23.5 pound Catfish was landed in Blinn Bay. Just thew out some frozen bait and waited fo that bell to rig says the angler.

Throw them a frozen anchovy or live worm. Mid day seems to be the best catching hours when the sun has warmed the surface of the lake. Catfish are still around if you have the time to wait just sink something stinky to the bottom. ...... Read More
