The water is rising at an astounding rate but is still too low to stock fish or launch boats. If the weather stays favorable we could reopen the lake sometime in the next couple weeks, but we won’t make any official decision on that until the water is actually there. Still, the water is now touching the dam for the first time in 4 years, so we’re optimistic. The few folks that did wet a line at South Lake reported slow fishing.
