  • The Fall Season is upon us and the weather is now starting to cool down. Perfect for spending a day at the lake! Won't you stop by and join us?
  • We had a nice turnout for Night Fishing this past weekend. Hope you made it out. Keep an close eye on your calendar--the next one is October 26th where the lake will be open until 10 p.m!
  • Catfish are still biting! Anglers are bringing them in on mackerel and chicken liver! Productive spots this past weekend were Cloister Cove and Half Moon Cove.
  • Bass are still being caught around the lake as well. Try your luck on the campground shoreline (on the west side of Sentry Point!) You can't go wrong using watermelon and black flake roboworm with no weight.
  • The panfish bite has been fairly steady in Sentry Cove and the bait of choice is using mealworms and nightcrawlers.
  • Campsites are going quick for Spooky Camp-O-Ween! Don't miss all the fun and excitement available for registered campers! There will be spooky stories and s'mores. Campsite trick or treating and a campsite decorating contest! Two weekends of fun, fun, fun! It all starts October 18th to October 20th and October 25th to October 27th.
  • Trout season is right around the corner! The water in the lake is getting cooler every day and we will be posting the stocking schedule very soon!
  • Lake Jennings currently has openings for a Dockhand and Volunteer Park Host. If you are interested in applying, please go to our website HERE.
  • It is the perfect season to rent a Tipi! They rent for $65/night Sunday-Thursday and $75/night Fridays, Saturdays, and holidays. You can book them on our website at www.lakejennings.org or you can give us a call at (619) 390-1623 for assistance.  Also, check out the Events Calendaron our website for the latest on upcoming activities at the lake!
  • If you love camping, the campground has many fun things for children (and kids at heart) to do! Tetherball, giant Jenga, Horseshoes, and Corn Hole. There is also a covered playground area available with a swing set for the kids. Head to the Pavilion any day for games like ping pong or foosball! Enjoy campfire s'mores with Ranger Rusty Saturday evenings at 6:30 p.m.
