Like always, Captain Frank Ursitti started up with his fishing seminar. Right after that we started our raffle. I gave away SFR T-Shirts & Sweat Shirt. We travelled 101 miles all night. The moment of ecstasy begun around 6:30am with one Albacore. It was slow the rest of the day. We'll get a hit on a troll but slow on live bait. Captain Frank made a lot of several stops including kelp paddy but no hot biter. They're there but no appetite. There's something about the water and weather. Our final count for the day: 2 Albacore, 4 Yellowtail & 1 Bluefin Tuna for 30 anglers. As the old captains used to say "We can control the service, we can control the food but we can't control the fish or the weather". Chef Paul did an excellent superb job. He was stuffing us with food and snacks all day non stop. We had full blown breakfast, Chicken Teriyaki with oriental rice & veges for lunch and Sirloin Steak with baked potato for dinner. The rest of the crew are always there assisting everybody. They did all they can to please. Thank you everybody. This is still a good trip in my book with all good service and the best captain in the industry. I always love going out on the RANGER 85.
