Kaweah Lake rose to 18 percent of capacity, and bass anglers reported fair fishing. Most of the fish remained deep, but there were reports of some bass moving up into shallow water. Drop shot, jigs, and creature baits worked for bites in 15 to 40 feet of water last week. The department of Fish Wildlife scheduled a trout plant for the week of February 6th, but there were few reports from successful trout anglers. Catfish went for dip bait, cut baits, and fresh shrimp.
