Captain Jeff Bunde called in with an update from the Island Spirit out of Ventura Sportfishing in Ventura Harbor. We had great Yellowtail fishing. They were really good grade 18 to 25 pounds. We had a couple fish near 40 pounds. And a handful of fish in the 35 pound size. They were biting 7 ounce Scrambled eggs Surface jigs. They also were biting the fly-lined baits really well too!
