BASS

The bass bite slowed down this week. Anglers are cactching bass between 1-4 pounds. Carolina rig, and dropshotting plastics are working best. With the water level rising, there are a lot of shrubs and weeds submerging making great habitat. There has been reports of smallmouth bass being caught as well.

STRIPER

The striper bite has slowed down. They are down deep right now so catching them has been tough.

CATFISH

Anglers are catching catifsh on shrimp, chicken liver and some are even biting plastics! The best spot to fish for catfish are near the dams.

PANFISH

The panfish bite is still steady! Mealworms, night crawlers and jigs are recommended for catching panfish. Anglers are catching their panfish limits near the dams!

TROUT

There were no reports of trout being caught this week. Miini jigs, powerbait, and nightcrawlers are recommended for trout fishing.
