BASS

Anglers are catching many smaller bass in the shallows. Carolina rig, and dropshotting plastics are working best for bigger bass within 30-40 ft. With the water level rising, there are a lot of shrubs and weeds submerging making great habitat. There has been reports of smallmouth bass being caught as well.

STRIPER

The striper bite picked up this week. Anglers are catching them trolling with flies.

CATFISH

The catfish bite remains consistent! Anglers are catching catifsh on nightcrawlers, chicken liver and Mackerel! The best spot to fish for catfish are near the dams and islands.

PANFISH

Anglers are still catching panfish between 1-2 pounds! Mealworms, night crawlers and jigs are recommended for catching panfish. Anglers are catching them near the dams by the ladders.

TROUT

There were no reports of trout being caught this week. Miini jigs, powerbait, and nightcrawlers are recommended for trout fishing.

BASS The bass bite picked up this week. Anglers are cactching bass between 1-8 pounds. Carolina rig, and dropshotting plastics are working best. With the water level rising, there are a lot of shrubs and weeds submerging making great habitat. There has been reports of smallmouth bass being caught as well.
