On Saturday, February 25, 2017, 325 fisherman attended the second of four 2017 San Bernardino County Regional Park Trout Derbies at Cucamonga-Guasti Regional Park in Ontario, CA. A total of 87 trout were caught and registered, with the top trout weighing in at 6 lbs. 13 oz. It was caught by Alexis Sevilla from Los Angeles, CA using a jig. Twenty-Four additional prizes were given out for trout weighing 6.04 lbs. to 3.04 lbs.

Yucaipa Regional Park will host the next Trout Derby in the series on Saturday, March 11th, 2017. Over $1000 in cash and other prizes will be given away for the top 25 trout caught. $20 per entry. Must have CA State fishing license if over 15 years of age. For more information call 909-387-2461
