Bass, Trout, and Catfish seems to be the most common catch! Check out these spot locations: Harvey's Cove (Bass & Catfish), Sweet-water Bay (Trout), Clark's Cove (Trout), Cachuma (Bass & trout), Crappie (private dock), Johnson Bay (Large mouth), Santa Cruz Bay (Catfish/Trout) and Bobcat's Cove (Catfish). For those that may want of fish for Trout, the fishing has picked up considerably due to first Trout drop last week. They are about 25 ft from surface, so add a split shot or an egg sinker to achieve the necessary depth. For Crappie, use neon green or generally neon jigs have been proven most effective. Furthermore, utilizing garlic night crawlers or Mackarel has been the bait trend for Catfish.

Firetiger Flicker shads or garlic powerbaits has been working very well for trout rubber worms/shad or white crank baits or black and yellow Panther Martins have been effective for Large and Small Mouth Bass. Side Note: Shore fishing has been slow, if possible have or rent a boat for better catch results. Check out 805 webcam for: weather conditions and scenic views.
