Heading in from the islands. The weather was perfect, calm and no wind all day.
Today we had a slow start. We fished a few spots in the deeper water and kept running shallower. Later in the morning we found a zone that was biting and just picked it apart. The squid worked the best only a few on the jig and plastic. There were some red and chucks but overall a mixed bag of rockfish.
Our 24 anglers caught 32 reds, 62 chucks, 146 rockfish, 25 ocean white fish, 2 lingcod.
The coral sea is running 3/4 days Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday with lots of room. The Stardust is running a three-quarter day tomorrow with plenty of room. The Stardust is also running half day trips leaving at 9 AM returning at 3 PM Monday through Wednesday. To make a reservation you can book online or call the Sea Landing (805)9633564
