The weather has been hot and beautiful, and the fish are biting! Rainbow Trout are coming up between 25 & 30 ft. They're being caught around the dam and in Johnson Bay. They love garlic nightcrawlers & Panther Martins when trolling. Crappie have been catching great this week. They are usually hiding out around the reeds. Try using Atomic Tubes. They have been working wonders as well as Crappie Jigs. Large & Small Mouth Bass were really active this week but a little smaller than last week. Trolling toward the east and near the Dam seemed to be the best places. Rapalas and Flicker Shads work great! Catfish are more elusive but are still being caught near the dam and the coves around the marina. Mackerel has been a popular choice. Bluegill are finally being caught in numbers! Hook & worm are working nicely on boats and off shore. We are at 33% capacity here at the lake with about 115 ft. of water at Bradbury Dam. Our weather has been wamr but not enough to affect fishing. The wind has also been nice to us! Visit our marina and talk with our friendly and knowledgeable staff. We look forward to seeing you!!
