Last week at Lake Cachuma Marina the following fish were caught by anglers of all ages:

Crappie 1.5lbs. and Trout 4.5lbs. while trolling the lake. Bass were caught by casting. Along the wall a 2.5lbs. Crappie was caught with a Fire Tiger Eye. Later in the week bass were caught with senko plastic worms, 6 bass were caught by the dam while casting with garlic night crawlers.

The bass being caught right now are mostly large mouth.

You can see carp all over the lake, they are not being caught right now because anglers are not fishing for them.

Trout are located out to the east or 100 feet deep by the dam.  Trolling for trout is your best options for them.

We are gearing up fro the Fishing Derby on April 27 & 28.
