Fishing for trout, bass and stripers has been great over the past week throughout the coves of the lake. Tons of trout have been caught all over the lake since the plants last week, limits have been pulled up throughout the marina, around Spanish Point and Bear Trap. Sinking some worms or powerbait has been working the best for trout but anglers have also been having great luck using little spinners, spoons, and mice tails.

Largemouth and small mouth bass have been biting a variety of baits along the grass lines along the shore, drop shot roboworms or night crawlers, flukes and senkos and some hard plastic baits first thin in the morning. Stripers have been biting lugworms, night crawlers and chicken liver along the rip rap in front of the boat shop and along the channel by the entrance booth.
