It has been really warm out. The trout are very deep at least 65 feet and by the dam. A couple nice catfish were caught on Monday with garlic worms. In Cachuma bay 3 large mouth bass were caught on robo worms and bluegill were caught in Johnson Bay on night crawlers. Catfish were also caught off of Arrowhead Island using gulp catfish bait. Fish bit best in the mooing when it’s cool. Crappie is being caught as well on night crawlers.

Two 2 pound bass were caught off Arrowhead Island on garlic worms. In Cachuma Bay 4 Bluegill, 2 large bass, 1 small bass and 2 catfish were caught using garlic worms. An angler used a black and silver flicker shad on Saturday and he caught 2 crappie, 2 smallmouth and 13 largemouth. Fishing has slowed down a bit since last week. Bluegill were caught at Johnson Bay with Sand crabs and worms. A 6.8Lb. Largemouth bass was caught on a purple flicker shad. The angler would not give up his location. Catfish were caught near arrowhead island on garlic night crawlers. A 2 Lb. largemouth bass was caught at Johnson bay.
