Today’s Fish Count: 10 Boats and 207 Anglers.

1,786 Rockfish, 574 Whitefish, 22 Lingcod, 5 Sheephead, 1 Sculpin, 4 Sole, 4 Bonito, and 38 Calico Bass.

The Santa Ana winds didn’t come back, and it made for ideal fishing conditions today. Good shallow bottom fishing for Whitefish and even Calico Bass, but it was the deep water Rockfish that bit the best. Some boats reported limits of Rockfish by 10 o’clock this morning, which left plenty of time to fool around catching other species.
