Fishing has still been tough for most anglers, and the weather hasn’t been cooperating either. It has been really windy the past week and a couple of days were shut to boats launching.

Overall, the striper have mainly been caught on the troll. Using flies and umbrella rigs have been producing some decent sized fish. A few angels soaking nightcralwers and lug worms have also been getting tucker here and there.

Catfish have been picking up worms and cut bait while anglers are soaking bait. The largemouth and smallmouth bite remains a little tough, with most action coming off small shad imitation baits and the good old drop shot. Some smaller jerk baits and lead heads have been working as well. There have also been a few hold over trout caught and are of a good size from last season. We are still waiting on out first stocking.
