We had two trout stockings this past week which was a nice surprise. Trout are biting little Sierra slammer and spoons along with good old Powerbait and nightcrawler. The stripers are starting to bite a little better and a few decent swimbait fish were caught recently. You can also soak some sardines or lug worms and get a couple. Some angels trolling flues have also been producing some decent quality fish. Largemouth and smallmouth are still biting, but most catcher have been down in deeper water around 30-40 feet. The catfish are not cooperating momentarily, and not many fish have been reported. The crappie are biting down deep as well on small jigs and wax/meal worms. The wind has been something to content with lately and it seems like half the week is blown out. Even when boats can’t launch shore angling has been productive lately.

The striper action is a little on the slow side, but a few anglers have been having luck on the troll with flies and umbrella rigs, and...... Read More

On the calmer days anglers have been having some luck with bass and stripers mainly. We had a court plant at the beginning of the week and it has been pretty tough to catch trout. A few anglers are having luck with Powerbait and garlic nightcrawler. The largemouth are also...... Read More
