We had a super fun day fishing the Channel Islands. Started off in deeper water catching some quality groupers, reds and  assorted rockfish. We then moved into the shallow waters in search of whitefish and boy did we find some that wanted to bite. If you didn’t get a bite the second you reached bottom something happened to your bait on the way down. Our 25 anglers captured 250 whitefish, 3 lingcod, 2 sheepshead and 230 assorted rockfish.
