Lake Conditions: Surface temperature is approx. 63 Degree Fahrenheit. The water visibility is clearing to about 2 to 3 ft.

** IMPORTANT NOTE** There are currently no state fishing licenses available in the Lake Morena area so be sure you acquire one before you arrive. The State Licenses is required.

Trout: Over the past week, month no rainbow showed up. We're looking forward to stocking sometime in December.

Bass: The Largemouth are still favoring plastic chasing them near the surface. Get your silverside look alike and dance them on the top.
We're seeing plenty of 1 and 2 pounders being reported; all but a few caught and released. Larger bass are on the move as 4 to 10 pounders are being reported. These anglers are preferring to remain anonymous. The "cool" guys that like sharing info like Pete Barry, Brian Scott, Ian Hudson and Jim Hill have been doing their rendition of a fish survey. These guys are telling us the lake is very healthy and have never left disappointed.

Catfish: The Catfish have never slowed down with many limits reported. Nightcrawlers, Chicken Livers and Mackerel have been the ticket this week. One of the better spots was near the boulders at Cabin cove but other spots such as Horseshoe cove and Pumphouse cove did just as well. Reggie Gilham has been coming here for the last few weeks limiting each time with some real fatties near Paradice cove. Bob Clark punctuated his day of limiting with a 6lb 15oz cat. He and Cousin James Luper were plying mackerel in Horseshoe Cove.

Blue Gill: No "gills" reported this week
Crappie: The Crappie have been no shows.
Carp: These fish are mouthing the surface parading around the boat dock but are hard to get them to bite.
