Best action has been on a Carolina rig with garlic or anchovy oil on crawlers, shrimp and mackerel. Don't forget they also like almost anything with garlic. Action has been good all around the lake with the best bet being around the small island. Kevin Dugaured of Corona got his 9.5 pound catfish using mackerel from the north shore. Chris Hunter from Pomona brought his 8.5 pounder in on shrimp with garlic sauce from Sandy Point. Ryan Krust from Tustin landed a 8 pounder using the M & M combo from the finger and the ladies produced this week as well when Angela Whitmore of Victorville hooked up using a nightcrawler and landed a 7 pound catfish.

1,000 pounds of fish on Monday October 21 & 28, 2013. 1,000 pound of Mt Lassen trout coming on the 28th as well. Lots of big fish still in the deeper depths. The lake is open from 6:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. for the day session and 1:00 to 10:00 p.m. for the night fishing. No state fishing license is required here.

Chalk Mound Trout coming on November 15th, 2,000 pounds of Tail Walkers in November, December, January and February.
