We are open! Please practice social distancing a wear a face mask. Please, no more than 10 people in a group due to CA Covid manatee.

As of August 3, the lake capacity was at 76.4%. Trout are finally biting at approximately 20-25 feet deep on garlic nightcrawler. Bass were caught trolling by the Dam. A young anglers caught 5 Crappie on crappie jigs under the structure at Jack Rabbit Flats. Eagle, Deer and California Condor were reported spotted on Arrowhead Island. Catfish were caught off Harvey’s Cove on mackerel. Bass, crappie, Bluegill and Redear are still being caught on the south side of Arrowhead Island. 

Our Hours changed effective August 15th, we open at 6:30 AM And last boat rental goes out at 4PM all boats must be in by 6 PM.

The tackle shop is well stocked for your fishing needs, such as live bait, nightcrawlers and mealworms. For boat rental prices to to rockmountainrec.com we do not take reservations.
