Most common catch seems to be the Bass, Trout and Catfish! Crappie are finally showing up!

Harvey's Cove [Bass/Catfish], Sweet-Water Bay [Trout], Clark's Cove [Trout], Cachuma [Bass/Trout], Crappie [private dock], Johnson Bay [Lareg Mouth], Santa Cruz Bay [Catfish/Trout] and Bobcat's Cove [catfish]. Since our last Trout plant in November, Trout fishing has been picking up. They are about 2 ft. from surface, add either a split shot or a egg sinker to achieve the necessary depth. Neon green or a generally neon jig have been proven most effective. Using garlic night crawlers or Mackerel has been the bait trend for Catfish. Firetiger Flickers shads or garlic powerbait has been working very well for Trout. Rubber worms/shad, white crank bait or black and yellow Panther Martins have been effective for Large and Small Mouth Bass. Side note: Shore fishing has been slow, come down to the bait shop and rent a boat for a better catch results. Check out 805 webcam for weather conditions and scenic views.
