It was hot this week but the fish kept biting!! Rainbow Trout were more active this week. They're being caught around the dam and in Johnson Bay. They're down about 35 ft. and seem to love our garlic nightcrawlers & Panther Martin. Crappie were really doing great this week. Multiple catches and up to 2 pounds! They are usually hiding out around the reeds. Try Crappie Jigs. They love them! Large & Small Mouth Bass were really active this week. Trolling toward the east and near the Dam seemed to be the best places, Rapalas and Flicker Shads work great! Catfish active and being caught near the dam and the coves around the marina. Mackerel has been a popular choice. Bluegill are finally starting to show up around the dam. They're around 1.5 pounds!! We are at 37% capacity here at the lake with about 125 ft. of water at Bradbury Dam. The wind has been very good to us and hasn't caused any problems fishing!
