Rainbow trout are being caught in larger numbers this week, around the dam and in Johson Bay at about 35 ft. They love garlic nightcrawlers & Panther Martins when trolling. Crappie have been doing better this week, we've seen 2 to 3 pounders! They're usually hiding out around the reeds. Atomic Tubes work great as well as crappie jigs. Large & Small Mouth Bass were being caught all around the lake. One 5 pounder was caught on Saturday!

Trolling the deeper waters is best. Rapalas and Flicker Shads work great! Catfish were being caught in more numbers this week. 3 and 4 pounders were being caught near the dam and the coves around the Marina. Mackerel has ben a popular choice. Bluegill & Redear were very slow this week but a few were caught. Hook & worm are working nicely on boats and off shore. We are at 25% capacity here at the lake with about 110 ft. of water at Bradbury Dam. Come visit our bait shop for any tackle and bait you may need. Our friendly and knowledgeable staff will be happy to tell you were the fish are biting and even even help you set up your fishing pole and rig! We have live bait for sale as well as coffee and snacks!
