The weather has been hot and beautiful and the fish are biting! Rainbow Trout are coming up between 30 & 35 ft. They are being caught around the dam and in Johnson Bay. They love our garlic nightcrawlers & Panther Martins when trolling. Crappie have been a little slow this week but a couple of people brought in 3 pounders! They are usually hiding out around the reeds. Atomic Tubes work great! Large & Small Mouth Bass were being caught all around the lake but not in the numbers as last week. Trolling the deeper water is best. Rapalas and Flciker Shads work great! Catfish were the surprise this week, 3 & 4 pounders were being caught. near the dam and the coves around the Marina. Mackerel has been a popular choice.

Bluegill and Red ear were very slow this week but a few were caught. Hook & worm are working nicely on boats and off shore. We are at 30% capacity here at the lake with about 115 ft. of water at Bradbury Dam. Weather has been very warm but not enough to stop the fish from biting. We only had wind one day. The rest of the week was calm! Visit our marina and talk with our friendly and knowledgeable staff.
