There has been a decent amount of Largemouth action coming from Firebreak and Trout Point this past week. Anglers have been having luck on worms, jig heads, and craw baits. Try fishing these areas early; between 6:45 am and 10:00 am for the best chance of a bite. The Striped Bass have still been hitting predominantly in the marina throughout the day. Other hot spots for Striped Bass have been C-Point, the west walls, and the buoy line. Try fishing the west walls and buoy line at about 40-60 feet with lead line and an umbrella jig between 5:00 pm and 7:00 pm. If fishing the marina, stick to nightcrawlers, senkos, and small swimbaits. The last trout plant was on 3/22 on the main launch ramp. Unfortunately, there has not been much trout action since the last stock.

Anglers have been catching trout on 1/24 chrome kastmasters and yellow powerbait. Anywhere off of the dam or shoreline works to target trout right now. The striped bass have been biting on BBZ JR's, Huddlestons, Savage Gear, and Nightcrawlers. There has been a lot of activity coming off of the shoreline...... Read More
