Pyramid fluctuated between 90 and 92 percent of its storage capacity, and fishing remained good. Popular bass fishing locations included Bear Trap, Serrano, Yellowbar, and Brazos. Flick Shake worms, drop-shot rigs, and Texas rigs fooled bass in 2 to 20 feet of water. Green pumpkin black flake, watermelon, and ox blood were productive color choices. Striped bass anglers used leadcore or downriggers to get umbrella rigs and large-profile lures down near the 50-foot zone. Striped bass also ate cut sardines near the marina and Yellowbar. Catfishing was productive with cut sardines, chicken liver, and dip bait.
