Well, I can finally see the light at the end of the tunnel, and it's called Spring!! Green grass, almond blossoms, birds singing and making nests and...lots of hungry spotted bass!

Now is the time to make your reservations for lodging at the lake, it's come up a bunch and looks like it's "old self", big and deep! Now is also a good time to book a guide trip as the fishing is good and getting better every day. I took a beautiful local girl out yesterday and we caught 19 fish in 4 hours, we caught them on plastic worms, spinnerbaits and wacky Senkos, all shallow!
