Striper and Catfish have been biting very well along the shorelines and throughout the lake over the past week on a variety of baits. Limits of catfish have been caught on frozen baits; sardines, anchovies, and chicken liver. Anglers have been having good luck catching stripers along the shoreline and rip rap using lugworms, along with sardines and anchovies anywhere from 20-60ft deep. Bass have been biting mainly on jigs and plastic baits but there has been some luck using crank/jerk baits deeper in the lake. Still waiting to receive a trout plant but people have still been catching trout out in the coves of the lake using power baits and dip.
