With all of the weather rolling through the lake, bass and strippers have been biting very well over the past week both from shore and throughout the lake.  Bass have been biting all along the shorelines very consistently on plastic baits and anglers have also been having some luck with reaction baits first thing in the morning.  Stripers have mainly been caught by using a variety of bait, lug worms and nightcrawler have been working well, along with sardines and chicken liver both from shore and off points around the lake.  The rip rap in front of the boat shop has been a great spot throughout the day and along the canal by the entrance booth has been pretty good during the afternoon bite.
