Stripers remain active with a lot of catches coming on sardines, anchovies, lug and blood worms. Some anglers have reported getting some line-sides on the troll, using primarily deep driving jerk baits and lead heads with paddle tail flukes as a trailer. Some spoons have been working as well.
Believe it or not there has been some trout action this past week and some angler shave been having luck down at the end of the dish arm in the mouth of Elizabeth canyon. They’ve been having luck with Kastmasters, jerk baits and smaller swim jigs.

The bass bite continues to slowly improve with more and more fish being caught over the weekend. The main bait of choice for most anglers has been the good old nightcrawler as of late, but some have been having luck with plastic worms either fly lined or on a drop-shot set up. Robo worms in Oxblood and Morning dawn have been doing the trick. The Catfish bite has continues to pick  up as well with a lot of angler hooking up using anchovies, mackerel, chicken livers.

The Bluegill and crappie remain pretty slow, with more and more shown up as the weather starts to warm up.
