Both largemouth and smallmouth have been biting great throughout the past few weeks both from shore and along the shoreline of the lake. Some people have had luck using top water baits for both bass and stripers, the few hours fo the morning along the banks and along the rip rap in front of the bait shop and the shoreline past the swim beach. Most bites have been on lug worms, nightcrawlers, and chicken liver bait and wait style. People have also been catching tons of catfish both from shore and throughout the coves around the lake, and along the sandy banks by the Yellow Bar and Serano.
