Stripers have been boiling the first few hours of the morning throughout the coves, marina, Yellowbar and Spanish Point. Anglers have been catching a lot of stripers and bass on top water baits in the morning along the shorelines and coves. People from shore have also been having really good luck using worms or frozen baits off the rocks in front of the boat shop and along the channel by the entrance booth. Trolling around the island and Yellowbar has been pretty successful for some of the healthier stripers, some being caught ip to 7lbs. Trout are also still being caught throughout the lake on mice tails, powerboat and worms. Some lures are still working for trout along the shorelines such as little spinners or kasmasters would work well. Lots of smallmouth and largemouth have been biting soft plastics and spinners up shallow.
